On June 20th, our Cesano Maderno headquarters became a hub for professionals, partners, and enthusiasts from the furniture and sustainability sectors. It was a valuable opportunity to present, alongside Gruppo Saviola and CIMENTO®, the new collections of eco-friendly panels—solutions that blend aesthetics, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
Sustainability: Italy leading the way
During the event, Gruppo Saviola shared key insights on the circular economy in Europe, highlighting Italy’s leadership role: today, our country recycles over 85% of end-of-life wood, compared to the European average of 41%. This gap reflects decades of commitment, dating back to the late 1980s, which gave rise to innovations like the Pannello Ecologico®—a symbol of a virtuous production model that transforms waste into valuable resources.
This green product is born from a simple and radical idea: waste nothing and give new life to what already exists. A continuous value cycle that starts with recovering post-consumer wood and renews itself in every application, without limits in form, function, or design—without cutting down any trees.
Sustainable design as a cultural endeavour
CIMENTO® contributed its vision by sharing a design approach rooted in sustainability. Using recycled materials and certified mineral aggregates, the company creates panels that feature refined textures, sophisticated colours, and structural lightness.
The goal? To craft products that are not only beautiful but also ethical and responsible, minimising environmental impact at every stage of the production process.
